Regional Sales Representative
Regional Sales Representative agents are primarily responsible for receiving & selling incoming new commercial lines business while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other industry professionals. The secondary responsibility is to utilize knowledge and experience to assist Commercial Lines Producers with placing new business.
Duties of a Regional Sales Representative include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain a Property & Casualty license along with keeping up with Continuing Education.
  • Understanding and following the Cross Basic Procedure Manual.
  • Understanding and following the Commercial Lines Workflow Manual.
  • Meeting annual sales goal.
  • Following up and completing open suspense's daily.
  • Using carrier websites proficiently to generate accurate quotes.
  • Selling commercial insurance products to prospective clients.
  • Establish & maintain good working relationships with company personnel (underwriters, marketing representatives, companies service centers, and claims representatives).
  • Providing quality customer service to existing and prospective clients.
  • Staying up to date on new insurance products and market/industry trends.
  • The ability to understand and analyze insurance coverage and policy forms.
  • Strong written, oral and phone communication skills
  • Organize, set, and maintain priorities
  • Working knowledge and/or experience with AMS360 and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to present, educate, and close on all commercial lines' insurance products.
  • Meet with prospective clients.
  • Conduct sales presentations with the intent of selling an insurance product.
  • Input bound new business clients into Agency Management System, generate Binders, ID Cards & other necessary insurance documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Holds a P&C Insurance License
At least 5 years of insurance agency experience preferred
AMS360 is preferred for Agency Management Experience but not required
Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $45,000-$75,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
