Salary Range: $125,000 - $175,000 depending on experience

We are collaborating with leading companies in Byron Center seeking experienced General Managers.

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Byron Center that are seeking skilled General Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production targets and business objectives.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
  • Drive operational excellence through process optimization and the adoption of best practices.

  • Identify and implement new technologies and automation opportunities to enhance productivity.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
  • Demonstrated success in P&L management and driving financial performance
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
  • Demonstrated success in fostering a strong safety culture
  • Fluency in a second language relevant to the workforce or customer base
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
