Regional Manager

Job Description

The Regional Manager is responsible for leading and managing the performance, operations, and compliance of multiple office locations. This role is a key leadership position that ensures each location consistently meets sales targets, delivers outstanding customer service, and maintains operational excellence in alignment with company standards and procedures.


Multi-Location Oversight

  • Supervise daily operations across assigned offices to ensure performance, cleanliness, and professionalism.
  • Perform scheduled and surprise visits to each office for audits and evaluations.
  • Ensure consistent branding, signage, and physical presentation of each location.

Sales & Performance Management

  • Set and monitor monthly sales goals for each office and provide coaching to ensure targets are met.
  • Review policy count, retention rates, and individual performance metrics.
  • Hold lead agents accountable for productivity, customer satisfaction, and compliance.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Hire, train, and mentor new employees within the assigned region.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure employee engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Support disciplinary actions and terminations in collaboration with HR when needed.


Compliance & Procedures

  • Enforce proper quoting, binding, and policy issuance procedures.
  • Audit offices for policy fee compliance, proper documentation, and underwriting adherence.
  • Ensure all cash handling, deposits, and reporting are accurate and timely.
  • Cover a shift in a location within your region when needed.
  • Handle the weekly schedule for their offices, while coordinating with HR.


Communication & Reporting

  • Report weekly to executive leadership on office performance, staffing needs, and challenges.
  • Share updates, contests, training materials, and process changes with each office.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate leadership and branch offices.
  • Take calls from management or staff after/before hours.


Operations & Problem Solving

  • Resolve escalated customer complaints or operational issues.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in workflow, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Support technology needs and escalate system issues when required.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in multi-location management (insurance, retail, or service-based industry preferred).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record in sales management and achieving performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Insurance producer license (Property & Casualty) required within 60 days of hire.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus depending on region.
  • Ability to travel locally between assigned offices multiple times per week.
