Job description

About the Role

F2OnSite is seeking Onsite IT Project Technicians for a 2 week W2 contract supporting a monitor refresh project across multiple workstations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for detail-oriented technicians who take pride in clean installs, organization, and dependable work.

You’ll be working directly on the front lines—removing and installing hardware, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring end-user environments are professionally configured and clean.

Schedule & Shift Requirements

  • Shift is 8AM to 4PM
  • You must be available for the full duration of the 2 week project.
    No partial availability or extended time off will be permitted during the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove and safely pack old monitors, arms, and desktops for designated recycling.
  • Install new dual-monitor setups with arms, PCs, keyboards, mice, and necessary cables.
  • Unbox and organize new equipment, returning packing materials to original boxes.
  • Accurately document work completed daily and report progress to leads or project managers.
  • Maintain a neat, organized workspace and professional presence at customer sites.
  • Communicate effectively with leads, PMs, and fellow techs for seamless coordination.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on experience with monitor/PC/peripheral installation or refresh work.
  • Must own a standard technician tool kit (see tool list below).
  • Ability to lift equipment and perform physical tasks safely.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Must pass a background check prior to assignment.

  • Screwdriver set (including 4mm & 6mm hex bits)
  • Box cutter and scissors
  • Standard screwdriver with interchangeable bits
  • Snip Tool
  • Stanley Snip Tool
  • Electrical screw gun
  • WEN Electric Screwdriver

Safety & Conduct

  • Daily security check-in/out required; bags may be inspected.
  • Follow all safety guidelines including proper lifting and cable management.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and awareness of theft prevention.

Dress Code

  • Clean jeans or khakis, polos or neat tops.
  • No rips, stains, graphics, or worn-out shoes permitted.
