Job Summary:
Onyx Point, LLC. is seeking a System Engineer 2 to manage and maintain server infrastructure in cloud environments. The role requires expertise in both Linux and Windows systems, as well as security services deployment and vulnerability management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain server infrastructure in a cloud environment On-premises and AWS cloud , Linux (Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL 8/9) and Windows Server (2016/2022) systems.
• Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Salt, BASH, Python, and Ansible.
• Deploy, configure and maintain security related services such as McAfee/Trellix agents and ePO, Tenable Nessus agents and BigFix.
• Must be familiar with tracking and remediating security vulnerabilities across various environments.
Qualifications:
Required:
• An active TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)
• Manage and maintain server infrastructure in a cloud environment On-premises and AWS cloud
• Linux (Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL 8/9) and Windows Server (2016/2022) systems
• Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
• Salt, BASH, Python, and Ansible
• Deploy, configure and maintain security related services such as McAfee/Trellix agents and ePO, Tenable Nessus agents and BigFix
• Familiar with tracking and remediating security vulnerabilities across various environments
• A minimum of Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
• A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
