Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Lead Automation Developer to provide technical oversight for APM specific automations for application monitoring. The role involves designing solutions, analyzing deployment needs, and implementing monitoring setups using tools such as Datadog, BigFix, and Terraform.
Responsibilities:
• Provide and own technical oversight for all APM specific automations required for applications monitoring setup within the group.
• Involved in designing and enhancing solutions, analyzing deployment requirements, working with the team to implement and deploy solutions and platforms.
• Must be hands on with configurations.
• Assess and propose Automation solutions for monitoring implementation.
• Exposure to both large and small deployments.
• Exposure to newer trends with AI and Automated monitoring.
• Working knowledge on dev ops, continuous deployment and monitoring.
• Integrated Service Environment including on premise, cloud and hybrid services.
• Exposure to databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL).
• Working knowledge of and exposure to Open Source tools and best practices.
• Familiarity with software architecture and design (front-end, middleware, backend, microservices etc.).
• Enterprise architecture experience would be an added advantage.
Qualifications:
Required:
• In-depth knowledge and experience working with datacentre, cloud and hybrid infrastructure
• Must be familiar with Agile and Waterfall model
• Hands-on experience with Automation using BigFix, Terraform, Python
• Good understanding of the monitoring tool Datadog
• Ability to assess and propose Automation solutions for monitoring implementation
• Exposure to both large and small deployments
• Exposure to newer trends with AI and Automated monitoring
• Working knowledge on dev ops, continuous deployment and monitoring
• Integrated Service Environment including on premise, cloud and hybrid services
• Exposure to databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL)
• Working knowledge of and exposure to Open Source tools and best practices
• Familiarity with software architecture and design ( front-end, middleware, backend, microservices etc.)
Preferred:
• US Citizens and Green cards are Preferred
• Enterprise architecture experience would be an added advantage
• Secondary skills / Added advantage : Python
