Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Migration & Support Technician to support a high-volume Windows 11 upgrade and migration initiative. The role involves building and delivering devices, providing technical support, and troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build, configure, and deliver devices to upgrade them to Windows 11
โ€ข Support the organization through blue migrations and OS upgrades.
โ€ข Provide day-to-day technical support to employees, including user assistance, system guidance, and issue resolution.
โ€ข Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, phones, printers, peripheral devices, and software.
โ€ข Troubleshoot with minimal supervisionโ€”resolve unexpected issues and ensure delivered machines function as expected.
โ€ข Follow documented processes while also adjusting quickly to new challenges.
โ€ข Maintain accurate IT documentation; update and close tickets as required.
โ€ข Assist with various IT projects as assigned.
โ€ข Take thorough notes and absorb instructions
โ€ข Collaborate with the existing support team, who will be handling machines that do not meet Windows 11 criteria.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ year of experience supporting PCs in a Microsoft and environment.
โ€ข Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Strong communication and organizational abilities.
โ€ข Prior experience in a fast-paced technical support role.
โ€ข Able to work 100% onsite.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience supporting PCs in a Microsoft/Client environment.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, imaging, and OS migration processes.
โ€ข Experience with Office 365 / O365 Admin / Teams Admin.
โ€ข Knowledge of help desk/ticketing systems.
โ€ข Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
โ€ข Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
โ€ข Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative IT environment.
