• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate healing and self-discovery.
• Craft and implement targeted strategies for therapy addressing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and security.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to provide holistic care and support, enhancing client outcomes.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment.

The target population includes individuals and families with limited access to mental health care, facing diverse challenges that affect their emotional and behavioral health. Our clientele often includes those struggling with various mental health disorders, trauma, and life transitions, making it imperative that you possess a strong capability to connect with people from varied backgrounds and experiences.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) within the state of California.
• A minimum of two years' professional experience in a counseling or therapeutic context, ideally within a clinical setting.
• A comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
• Demonstrated capacity to build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to comprehensive client care.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies to improve client management.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in serving underprivileged populations or working within community health settings.
• Expertise in creating and managing treatment plans that align with clients' goals and community resources.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, contingent upon experience and the caseload managed.
