This remote position allows you to provide vital support and promotion of mental well-being through therapy and family guidance, ensuring clients can develop stronger relationships with themselves and their loved ones.

About the Organization

Located in Fresno, California, Refresh Mental Healthcare Center is committed to creating a supportive environment where individuals can explore their feelings and experiences. Our mission is to empower clients by helping them process emotions, expand self-awareness, and develop healthier perspectives. We understand the importance of offering a non-judgmental space for mental health recovery, and our clinicians are trained to stand alongside clients throughout their therapeutic journey.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility while ensuring the delivery of high-quality outpatient services. Our outpatient office facilitates a collaborative environment where licensed professionals interact seamlessly with clients through telehealth platforms. You will join a dynamic team of like-minded mental health professionals dedicated to fostering an atmosphere of empathy, collaboration, and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, applying your clinical expertise.
  • Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, circumstances, and goals.
  • Conduct regular sessions with clients—both individuals and families—to provide counseling, ongoing treatment, and necessary adjustments to therapeutic strategies.
  • Continuously assess patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes.
  • Lead group therapy sessions when appropriate, facilitating discussions that encourage peer support and shared experiences.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to legal and ethical standards to ensure high-quality client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Our client focus includes family systems, addiction issues, and co-occurring disorders, emphasizing the need for therapists who are skilled in providing comprehensive care and support.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid LMFT license in the state of California.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Strong background in addiction counseling, with knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Exceptional therapeutic skills, with an ability to motivate, empathy, and facilitate client growth.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of professional experience in a clinical mental health setting.
  • Experience in leading group therapy sessions and providing family counseling.
  • Familiarity and comfort with teletherapy platforms and technology.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match to assist in your future financial planning.
  • Quarterly productivity bonuses, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
  • Paid time off, holiday pay, and an annual bonus plan for work-life balance and appreciation.
  • A sign-on bonus for qualified new hires, incentivizing your transition to our organization.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Refresh Mental Healthcare Center, we believe in investing in our staff's professional development. As an LMFT, you will have access to continuing education opportunities, specialized training sessions, and mentorship programs designed to help you advance in your career. Furthermore, potential pathways for leadership positions within the organization will encourage your professional growth while positively impacting client care.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Refresh Mental Healthcare Center means becoming part of a compassionate, community-oriented team that prioritizes the well-being of both clients and staff. Our supportive culture fosters innovation, collaboration, and ongoing learning.
