Position Overview

Refresh Zone Mental Health Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both in-person and online counseling sessions, utilizing a blend of traditional and evidence-based modalities to support client needs effectively.
• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive treatment plans that align with each client's therapeutic goals, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.
• Perform thorough psychological assessments to understand patients' mental health conditions and tailor specific therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and session summaries, while adhering to regulatory and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in regular consultation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clients receive holistic care and support.
• Stay abreast of advancements in mental health practices and integrate new evidence-based approaches into your work.
• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills and staying informed about the latest mental health trends.
• Fulfill additional administrative or clinical duties as assigned.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an LMFT, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your focus will be on providing culturally competent care, addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client to foster trust and rapport.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
• Current, independent licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is mandatory.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all professional interactions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective therapy and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing both in-person and remote therapy is highly preferred.
• Background in various therapeutic modalities, particularly those applicable to family and marriage therapy.
• Experience working with community-based health services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
