Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for adults facing various mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based psychotherapy techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, child psychiatry fellows, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Lead educational sessions for medical students and supervise residents undergoing psychotherapy training, fostering the next generation of mental health clinicians.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss patient care strategies and contribute to multidisciplinary team approaches.
  • Document patient interactions meticulously in accordance with departmental protocols, ensuring accurate records of assessments, treatment progress, and therapy notes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults from diverse backgrounds experiencing a wide array of psychiatric diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. Your clinical insights and interventions will directly contribute to improving their overall quality of life. You will play a pivotal role in empowering clients to navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience working with older adult populations is necessary.
  • Proficient clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices in therapeutic settings.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
