Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Program Manager is primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of the Cochise County Health and Wellness Center. This position will oversee the execution of activities to include outreach, health and wellness services, case management, physical fitness and nutrition planning, scheduling of behavioral health services, and coordination of services with community service partners. The Program Manager will also be responsible for understanding, completing, and reporting on all program deliverables.

The Program Manager must understand Law Enforcement, First Responders, Veterans, Caregivers, and their family members’ needs. They should also understand case management operations, BH treatment and interventions, and process improvement. This position will be a spokesperson for the program and the capabilities that Endeavors provides in Sierra Vista.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee & support all operations for the Cochise County Health and Wellness Center, including the accumulating of outcome data tracking and reporting KPI’s to leadership.
  • Initiate, guide, and support staff with continuous quality and process improvements.
  • Forecast budget planning and execute expenditures of program funds to achieve the directed margin.
  • Collaboratively work with the specialized staff to monitor client need and implement new support services when indicated.
  • Oversee performance measurement, capturing and reporting client outcomes, and coordinating outreach events as appropriate.
  • Track and complete funder deliverables, audits, surveys, and compliance requirements.  
  • Participate in, organize, and train staff in established best practices.
  • Manage Community Outreach and Communication to ensure programs clients and family members take full advantage of the program's services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) from an accredited college or university in Social Work/Counseling/Psychology or related mental health field.

EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience with managerial/supervisory responsibilities and program level leadership experience is required. Experience across a range of modalities within social work or counseling. Experience working with first responders, veteran and law enforcement population is strongly preferred. Must demonstrate leadership capacity and ability to foster team building and a supportive, flexible environment.  

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record. Active State of Texas full clinical licensure.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others. Employee should expect to work one evening a week and weekend days as needed to accommodate the operations.
