Operations Manager

Location: Sheboygan, WI

Job type: Full Time

Schedule: Day shift, Monday - Friday

Salary: $77,000 - $104,000

**Compensation for this position includes salary, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.

What You'll Do

Manage and supervise all location specific operations functions in support of Viking Electric standardized operations processes.   Managerial oversight includes safety, workforce, receiving, shipping, project material management, facility, delivery, counter sales, inventory, and asset management.  Responsible for providing positive customer experiences and accurate order fulfillment with the annual established budget constraints.  Responsible for maintaining operational key performance indicators (KPIs) within established metrics.

Be responsible for warehouse workforce management including recruitment, development, retention, and performance of location specific operations associates. 

Daily management of location specific operations including productivity, workflow, and staffing, inventory, fleet and customer service levels.

Provide a safe working environment for all associates through compliance, education, and reinforcement of Viking Electric policies and procedures.

Collaborate with Sales, Human Resources and Corporate Supply Chain, to provide consistent, responsive, innovative and profitable customer service model in alignment with corporate operations standards.

Manage consistently improving quality standards in service, business process, inventory control and loss control.

Oversight and responsibility of building, grounds, Viking Electric assets, facility services, operational services, and fleet in collaboration with corporate resources.

Responsibility and monthly insight of departmental operating expense budget and operational KPIs. 

Follow all safety guidelines and regulations

What You Bring

Requirements:

4 years' experience in operations, logistics, or distribution environment.  Supervisory and sales/counter experience preferred.

Sales/counter experience and knowledge of VE's systems, processes, products and market knowledge preferred.

Knowledge of or ability to learn and enforce DOT rules and regulations.

Knowledge of progressive distribution and warehouse processes, methods and procedures and experience/knowledge or warehouse equipment and machines.

Bachelors degree preferred 

MS Office Suite experience

Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
