As Talent Acquisition Manager Belgium, you lead and drive the recruitment agenda for all Support & Staff positions across our Belgian organisation, covering both our Group & Commerce and Operations entities.

You combine strategic thinking with hands‑on recruitment expertise to attract, engage and hire high‑quality talent that supports our business ambitions today and in the future. Acting as a trusted partner to business leaders and HR, you translate workforce needs into effective recruitment strategies while ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and a strong employer brand.

You play a key role in shaping future‑oriented recruitment practices by leveraging labour market insights, innovative sourcing strategies and data‑driven decision making. In close collaboration with HR Managers, People & Culture Partners, hiring managers, Group Talent & Development and external partners, you continuously strengthen our recruitment capabilities and talent pipelines across Belgium.

You report directly to the HR Director Belgium.

Your key responsibilities and challenges are Talent Acquisition Strategy & Recruitment
  • You own and drive the end-to-end recruitment process for all Support & Staff positions across Belgium, ensuring an excellent candidate experience, high hiring quality and efficient delivery.
  • You translate business priorities, workforce plans and future capability needs into proactive recruitment strategies and hiring plans, aligned with the Group Talent & Development frameworks.
  • You partner closely with HR Managers, People & Culture Partners and business leaders to support strategic hiring initiatives linked to growth, transformation and organisational change.
  • You coach and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, enabling high‑quality selection decisions and a consistent hiring experience.
  • You contribute to workforce planning by providing labour market intelligence, talent availability insights and recruitment expertise.
  • You build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill positions while actively promoting internal mobility opportunities.
  • You monitor labour market trends, recruitment best practices and competitive benchmarks to continuously enhance recruitment strategies and outcomes.
  • You act as a proud ambassador of Vandemoortele, strengthening our reputation in the external talent market.
Sourcing & Talent Attraction
  • You develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract high‑quality talent through multiple recruitment channels, networking activities and direct sourcing.
  • You proactively identify, approach and engage passive candidates for key positions.
  • You lead targeted recruitment campaigns and Talent Acquisition initiatives for priority business populations.
  • You build sustainable partnerships with universities, schools, professional networks and external organisations to strengthen our talent pipeline.
Employer Branding
  • You contribute to the local implementation of the Group Employer Branding strategy and actively drive initiatives that increase Vandemoortele's visibility and attractiveness as an employer.
  • You organise and represent Vandemoortele at career fairs, networking events and employer branding initiatives.
  • You ensure consistent recruitment communication, candidate messaging and employee value proposition across all recruitment activities.
Recruitment Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • You ensure consistent, professional and compliant recruitment processes, tools and methodologies across Belgium, aligned with the Group Talent & Development frameworks.
  • You explore and implement innovative recruitment practices, digital solutions and AI‑enabled tools that improve efficiency, candidate experience and hiring quality.
  • You own and continuously optimise the use of recruitment systems and ATS tools, driving process improvements together with Group Talent & Development.
  • You use recruitment data and market insights to identify trends, improve hiring effectiveness and support strategic talent decisions.
  • You manage relationships with external recruitment partners, ensuring high service quality, effective collaboration, SLA compliance and cost control.

Are you the one we’re looking for?
  • You hold a Master degree.
  • You have a proven relevant experience of at least 5 years in a similar broad Talent Acquisition role in an international organisation, preferably within a manufacturing, production and/or FMCG environment.
  • You have a proven track record in managing end‑to‑end recruitment for support & staff profiles, combining strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach.
  • You have experience partnering with business leaders and HR stakeholders, translating business needs into effective recruitment solutions.
  • You are familiar with employer branding initiatives, talent sourcing strategies and labour market trends, and know how to build sustainable talent pipelines.
  • You are comfortable working with recruitment systems, ATS platforms and recruitment KPIs, and enjoy using data to continuously improve recruitment performance.
  • You are proactive, organised and able to manage multiple recruitment processes and priorities simultaneously.
  • You build strong relationships easily and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively, take ownership and bring a solution‑oriented and customer‑focused mindset.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, in English, Dutch & French.
