Job description

We're seeking an experienced Processing Operations Manager to lead our receiving and processing operations. You'll direct daily production, manage a team, control inventory, and drive continuous improvement — all while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.


What you'll do20

  • Ensure safe work practices, equipment, and documentation in line with OSHA and corporate safety policies
  • Develop safety SOPs and make sure staff receive timely safety and operational training
  • Direct, schedule, and coordinate equipment and personnel for daily processing, positioning, and loading
  • Maintain an efficient layout plan for processing and shipping, including storage and equipment locations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost quality, profitability, and safety
  • Inspect department equipment and submit work orders and purchase orders as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct monthly physical inventory audits
  • Supervise, schedule, and review the performance of department staff
  • Interview candidates and partner with HR on job descriptions and policy compliance (including union contracts, where applicable)
