Job description

FLEX is a temporary full-time position with an initial assignment of one year and the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

This is a remote position to support hotels in the East region. Preferred candidates will be located in, or willing to work EST hours.

The Recruiting Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition team by ensuring the efficient execution of recruiting processes and candidate movement throughout the hiring lifecycle. This role partners closely with Recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and HR teams to coordinate recruiting activities, manage pre-employment processes, maintain candidate data, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience 

Required

            High School Diploma/ GED

Preferred

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 2+ years' experience in coordination of recruiting activities
  • Recruiting or HR experience in hospitality/service industry or industry with field-based operations 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES 

Recruiting Coordination Activities 

  • Manage candidate progression through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate status updates and workflow movement.
  • Review and screen candidate applications against role requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews using recruiting technologies and scheduling tools
  • Communicate candidate status updates and disposition decisions in a timely and professional manner
  • Facilitate pre-employment and background screening processes for candidates
  • Prepare and distribute recruiting-related communications and correspondence
  • Troubleshoot and resolve candidate, hiring manager, and system-related issues with urgency and professionalism
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of job postings to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, service delivery, and operational efficiency
  • Deliver exceptional service and maintain clear communication with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners

Support additional recruiting and talent acquisition activities as needed.

SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

  • Working understanding of talent acquisition/human resource principles, practices, and procedures 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software including Applicant Tracking Systems.
