Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Contract Recruiter to provide direct support for large IT and engineering contracts through full life cycle recruiting.  This is a contract position (LLC or Corp-to-Corp).

Responsibilities
  • Recruit for a variety of IT, engineering, acquisition, and management positions. 
  • Identify and screen potential candidates. 
  • Schedule and participate in interviews to evaluate candidates. 
  • Coordinate and attend open houses.  
  • Provide weekly and ad-hoc status reports on progress.
Qualifications

3+ years experience recruiting for IT positions supporting Federal government clients.  Bachelor's degree in a related field.  Experience supporting a range of IT and engineering positions in support of Air Force programs.  Significant experience utilizing social media to support branding and identify candidates.  Connections to local DoD organizations and associations such as AFCEA preferred.  Experience working with a formal recruiting process.  Must be able to work independently and make regular reports to the recruiting manager.  Solid communications skills are critical.  Must be a US citizen.
