Job description

Performs a variety of tasks in the maintenance, operation, and supervision of recreational facility for the Town of Wake Forest. Duties and Responsibilities Greet and welcome members, guests, and visitors in a friendly, professional manner Supervision of gym/facility patrons. Locking and unlocking of building doors.

Maintaining records and reports General maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Process check-ins efficiently for programs, classes, and events Verify enrollment and maintain accurate program rosters/attendance records Assist with registrations, payments, and general program information Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly Distribute information on schedules, activities, and community services Perform basic administrative tasks such as updating records and forms Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the front desk, lobby, equipment and shared spaces in the facility Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants Essential Functions Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must possess the ability to relate to and communicate with individuals and with groups of people.

Must possess independent decision-making ability. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license.

Must submit to pre-employment drug screen. CPR/AED/First Aid Certification Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school with considerable experience working in an administrative assistant and/or customer service role. Some experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

Once an offer of employment has been extended, candidates will undergo a thorough background investigation, including NC State Bureau of Investigation fingerprinting.
