Location: Ridgecrest, California

the work schedule will be (3) 12-hour shifts and then 2 days off alternating over a 6 week schedule.
About the Role
The Recovery Coordinator - Adult provides outreach, information-referral, case management, and a full range of mental health and rehabilitation services for clients. This includes counseling, crisis intervention, skill training, and coordinating and monitoring assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up for each client. Level II Recovery Coordinators may act as lead staff, providing supervision and training to other recovery staff and volunteers. This role requires the use of a personal vehicle for client transport and active engagement with clients in home and community settings.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Conduct intake and comprehensive evaluation of each client's life situation, needs, and challenges
โ€ข Develop a detailed plan of care in collaboration with clients
โ€ข Assist clients in implementing their plan of care through community resource linkage and ongoing support
โ€ข Monitor the effectiveness of support services, including client and provider participation
โ€ข Provide professional support through client visits, consultation, guidance, and temporary interventions as needed
โ€ข Transport clients to accommodate community relationships (personal vehicle required)
โ€ข Maintain daily records, service progress notes, and billing forms per company and governmental standards (Short Doyle/Medi-Cal compliance)
โ€ข Conduct outreach and provide information/referral services to persons not requiring case management
โ€ข Maintain HIPAA compliance, ethical standards, and professional boundaries
โ€ข Develop and maintain professional working relationships with agencies and service providers
โ€ข Participate in management, staff, and client meetings, as well as training activities
โ€ข Meet monthly productivity requirement of 100 hours
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned to support the program and company
Required Qualifications
โ€ข AA, AS, or BA degree in human services, psychology, or related field, plus one year of related experience OR two years' equivalent experience
โ€ข Valid California driver's license and auto insurance
โ€ข Current CPR certification
โ€ข Minimum one year prior case management or psychiatric treatment experience
โ€ข Excellent prioritization, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
โ€ข Intermediate PC skills
โ€ข Related experience (preferred): coaching, scouts, teacher's aide, or CPS aide
โ€ข Ability to complete six months of closely monitored training
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Knowledge of rehabilitation models and mental health case management
