Asset Recovery Specialist
Overview:

Weโ€™re seeking a motivated and experienced Asset Recovery Specialist with strong skip tracing skills. This role is responsible for managing delinquent accounts from repossession assignment through resolution, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to maximize recoveries.

Key Responsibilities of the Asset Recovery Specialist:

  • Manage assigned accounts from repo assignment to resolution or account reinstatement.
  • Conduct skip tracing and customer outreach to locate assets and resolve delinquencies.
  • Assign and coordinate with repossession agents; reassign as needed for best recovery outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Collections, Asset Management, and Legal teams to drive account resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for internal tracking and asset remarketing.
  • Recommend charge-offs or payment restructuring when appropriate.
  • Ensure timely processing of repossession-related invoices.

Qualifications for the Asset Recovery Specialist:

  • Proven experience in collections and skip tracing.
  • Strong negotiation, multitasking, and communication skills.
