What is Asset Integrity?

Asset Integrity refers to the ability of an asset, such as equipment or infrastructure, to perform its required function effectively and efficiently while protecting health, safety, and the environment. The concept ensures that assets are properly designed, constructed, operated, and maintained to prevent failures, accidents, and unplanned downtime. Asset Integrity Management involves regular inspections, risk assessments, and maintenance to extend asset life and comply with industry regulations. It is commonly used in sectors like oil & gas, petrochemicals, and power generation.
