Job Summary
The VP, Asset Management supports the strategic oversight of a portfolio of MH and/or RV assets and is responsible for driving property-level performance, long-term value creation, and the development and execution of business plans. The VP, Asset Management will lead initiatives and help prioritize work for team members, including the Director and Associate of Asset Management, and support departmental initiatives and goal-setting by the SVP of Asset Management. This role partners closely with senior leadership and collaborates cross-functionally with Revenue Management, FP&A, Operations, Marketing, and Utility Management to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded. The VP, Asset Management will also take a leadership role in the design and implementation of internal systems and processes to institutionalize asset-level knowledge and decision-making frameworks.
Job Duties
  • Provide leadership, support, and strategic direction for the company’s asset management platform, encompassing financial performance, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. (Essential)
  • Oversee a national or multi-regional portfolio of assets and strategic investments, ensuring alignment with enterprise growth and capital allocation priorities. (Essential)
  • Direct the development and execution of multi-year business and capital plans; drive strategic reinvestment and repositioning initiatives to maximize asset value and returns. (Essential)
  • Partner with Finance, Investments, and Operations leadership to guide budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes. (Essential)
  • Support Corporate Strategy SVPs in the evaluation of major redevelopment, expansion, and acquisition opportunities; assess feasibility, structure recommendations, and present to executive leadership. (Essential)
  • Oversee & support the development of advanced analytics, financial modeling, and performance tracking systems to inform strategic decisions. (Essential)
  • Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to corporate strategy, investment decision-making, and portfolio optimization at the enterprise level.
  • Champion cross-departmental collaboration to align Marketing, Operations, and Development initiatives with asset-level and corporate objectives.
  • Monitor and mitigate macroeconomic, regulatory, and environmental risks impacting portfolio performance; develop enterprise-level risk management frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain best-in-class asset management standards, systems, and processes to ensure institutional scalability and data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing asset management team; foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (Required)
  • Master's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (Preferred)
  • 10+ years in of experience in real estate asset management, private equity, or investment management (Required)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Proven leadership and portfolio oversight experience
  • Exceptional financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple departments and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience with systems implementation, internal process development, or enterprise data management a strong plus
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills
