HIRING 2ND SHIFT

Reverie Recovery House Behavioral Health Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team at Armada Recovery in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a BHT, you will play a dual role in supporting client transportation and ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment within our facility. If you are passionate about helping others recover from addiction and have strong communication and interpersonal skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport clients to and from the facility, including new admissions from referral sources

  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of agency vehicles

  • Monitor and ensure appropriate client behavior during transport, enforcing program rules

  • Escort clients to external appointments, in-house meetings, or other services as needed

  • Support a safe, therapeutic environment within the facility

  • Enforce program rules and expectations at all times

  • Report behavioral concerns, incidents, or discrepancies in client whereabouts to clinical staff promptly

  • Respond calmly and appropriately to medical or behavioral emergencies

  • Assist with daily monitoring and supervision of clients as directed

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or designee

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record

  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and behavioral health preferred

  • Previous experience in a treatment or recovery setting is a plus

  • If in recovery, a minimum of one (1) year of continuous sobriety is required

  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible

  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
