As a Security Officer Driver Reception Services in Gahanna, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a utilities location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, maintain awareness of security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at the front desk of a utility location by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
  • Monitor visitor access, verify identification and authorization as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and departure records.
  • Answer telephone calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and provide clear information regarding site access and visitor procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Support a professional, welcoming front-desk environment while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and adherence to security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
