The present company was formed in 1959 when the Magnethermic Corporation acquired the assets of Ajax Electrothermic Corp. combining their expertise and capabilities.

Position Summary:

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming materials, components, and shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely availability for production and inventory. This role verifies incoming deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips, records inventory transactions, and coordinates the movement of materials throughout the facility. The Receiving Clerk also operates material handling equipment, maintains accurate receiving records, and helps ensure inventory accuracy. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficient material flow in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.

- Unload trucks and safely move materials to designated storage or production areas.

- Record receiving transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system.

- Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or missing materials and coordinate resolution with purchasing or suppliers.

- Label, organize, and stage incoming materials to support inventory accuracy and production needs.

- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment as needed.

- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and material movement throughout the facility.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area while following all company safety procedures.

What you need to be successful:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- 1–3 years of receiving, warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

- Experience with inventory transactions, ERP systems, and receiving documentation.

- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
