2nd Shift Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Shipping & Receiving Department
Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Department Director
Schedule: Monday - Thursday (1:30 PM - 11:30 PM)
Position Summary
Ad-Tech Industries, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the flow of incoming and outgoing products. This role is essential in ensuring accurate shipments, efficient material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
This position is empowered to identify and report any discrepancies or concerns to management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrappers, and banders
  • Transport finished goods from production to the shipping department
  • Read and interpret packing lists, work orders, and product identification tags
  • Ensure accuracy in order numbers, quantities, and shipment details
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks
  • Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
  • Maintain organized documentation, including packing lists and shipping records
  • Assist with inventory, cleaning, and other assigned tasks
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
