Are you searching for a first shift opportunity with a stable company where your shipping and receiving experience can be put to use? Do you have forklift experience, strong computer skills, and a good work history? If so, this position could be for you!

POSITION – Shipping/Receiving

JOB LOCATION – Grafton, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift

STARTING PAY – $20 to $23 per hour

BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous shipping/receiving experience; forklift experience required

As a Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory, preparing domestic and international shipments, and utilizing an ERP system and computer to accurately track materials and shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials
  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including international shipments
  • Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Enter and update shipping, receiving, and inventory information in the ERP system
  • Complete shipping paperwork and computer transactions
  • Verify quantities and materials for accuracy
  • Maintain an organized and safe shipping/receiving area

Qualifications

  • Must have previous shipping/receiving experience
  • Must have forklift experience
  • Must be comfortable using computers and ERP systems

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
