About The Role
The Material Handler - Shipping & Receiving will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring our customers receive the right part on time, every time. This hands-on position combines shipping & receiving, inventory management, and local deliveries - perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced CNC shop environment.
Work Schedule: 4/10 shift schedule, Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 4 pm. Periodically, overtime may be required to meet business needs. Friday shift, as needed, runs from 6 am - 2:30 pm.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and parts
  • Package and ship outgoing products with care and accuracy
  • Drive the company van to deliver parts to vendors and customers (local area)
  • Maintain clean and organized inventory areas and shop floor
  • Support quality control by inspecting incoming/outgoing parts using basic gauges (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Assist with basic rework (grinding, polishing, thread chaser)
  • Enter and update inventory data using a computer system
  • Follow safety and ISO quality procedures

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required for deliveries)
  • Basic computer proficiency and math (8th grade or higher) competency
  • Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
  • Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (forklift certification is a plus)
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, grinders, and inspection equipment
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and customer service-oriented
  • Strong initiative and eager to learn
