Shipping & Receiving Associate
Location: Urbana, OH
Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
Are you organized, dependable, and looking for a stable first-shift opportunity? We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations by ensuring materials and finished products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips.
  • Prepare outgoing orders for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Load and unload trucks safely using material handling equipment when required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and stage materials for production as needed.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Work closely with production and purchasing teams to ensure timely material flow.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using inventory systems are a plus.
