Commercial Real Estate Attorney
Am Law 100 Firm | Hybrid (Florida) | Contract-to-Potential-Hire Opportunity
Trustpoint.One is partnering with a prestigious Am Law 100 firm to identify an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney for a contract-to-potential-hire opportunity. This hybrid position may be based in any of the firm's Florida offices and offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated clients on complex real estate development and transactional matters.
The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience handling a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including significant work involving the acquisition and disposition of undeveloped land. This role offers the opportunity to support industry-leading homebuilders, master planned community developers, multifamily developers, and other prominent real estate stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of commercial real estate assets.
  • Advise developers, homebuilders, and investors on residential, multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial development projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, easements, financing documents, and other transaction-related contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence and assist with title, survey, zoning, and entitlement matters.
  • Counsel clients through all phases of the development process, from land acquisition and project financing through development, leasing, and disposition.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate business and legal risks associated with complex real estate transactions.
  • Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to sophisticated real estate clients.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in The Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of six years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions.
  • Significant experience involving the acquisition and disposition of undeveloped land.
  • Background representing homebuilders, master planned community developers, apartment developers, and other sophisticated real estate clients preferred.
  • Experience advising clients through the full development lifecycle, including acquisition, financing, development, and disposition, is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client-service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
