Job description

Senior Program Manager-Software
Longterm Contract- Onsite Dallas
THE POSITION
The Senior Program Manager will lead the launch of a large-scale, multi-year re-platforming initiative. This role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end rollout of approximately 200+ clients from a legacy platform to a new system through a structured, multi-phase conversion program.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional delivery role focused on execution excellence at scale. The Senior Program Manager will own the rollout strategy execution in partnership with Client Services and Product, ensuring predictable, high-quality client go-lives while adapting to evolving requirements and constraints.
The role will oversee a team of project managers and client-facing resources responsible for individual client conversions, operating in a matrixed environment with shared accountability across Client Services, IT, Marketing and other functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own end-to-end rollout execution for the platform conversion program, ensuring successful delivery from planning through client go-live and stabilization
  • Lead and coordinate the conversion of 200+ clients in structured batches, ensuring alignment to the overall rollout plan and timeline
  • Drive consistent, high-quality client go-live experiences with a strong focus on client satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Oversee and guide a team of project managers and client managers responsible for hands-on client conversions, providing direction, prioritization, and escalation support
  • Serve as the central point of accountability for rollout progress, risks, and outcomes across all active conversion cohorts
  • Partner closely with Product Management and Client Services on rollout planning, sequencing, and continuous refinement of the migration approach
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams including Engineering, IT, Application Support, and Marketing to ensure readiness for each phase of the rollout
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early; drive conversion strategies and course corrections to maintain forward momentum
  • Establish and track key program metrics (e.g., go-live success rate, client satisfaction, schedule adherence, cycle time) and provide clear, actionable reporting to leadership
  • Continuously improve rollout processes, tools, and playbooks to increase efficiency, scalability, and predictability over time
  • Ensure strong communication across internal stakeholders and client-facing teams, aligning expectations and maintaining transparency throughout the rollout

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • PMP or similar program/project management certification
  • 10+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-phase implementations involving client onboarding, configuration, integration, and deployment
  • Experience overseeing multiple concurrent workstreams and managing delivery at scale (100+ customers or equivalent complexity preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or coordinating project managers in a matrixed environment
  • Exceptional ability to drive execution across cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Demonstrated success managing ambiguity and adjusting plans while maintaining forward progress
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both executive stakeholders and operational teams
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience building and managing program-level metrics, reporting, and governance structures

KEY ATTRIBUTES:
  • Execution-focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Strong collaborator who can influence across functions and drive alignment
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
  • Committed to delivering an exceptional client experience
