Job description

Maintain steady flow of lumber to planer feed table.
The rate of pay for this position is $26.28 per hour.
Daily Job Duties:
  • Operate console and foot pedal to keep lumber straight and flat.
  • Using a pike pole remove any stacking sticks or cross-outs that do not fall onto the belt.
  • Keep hang ups clear from stick belt under tilt hoist.
  • Follow all applicable safety rules.
  • Work regularly scheduled shifts.
  • Work scheduled overtime - as required.
  • Clean up during down time with air wand, rake, or shovel.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work any shift (Days, Nights, Weekends).
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, hard worker
  • Must be a safety-oriented individual.
