Job description

  • DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
    •  
      The Radiology Aide supports the imaging department by assisting technologists with patient care and exam preparation, verifying and managing images in PACS, and retrieving prior films as needed. This role involves transporting patients safely throughout the hospital, facilitating communication between departments, and maintaining a working knowledge of the Film Library. The aide ensures all necessary paperwork and safety protocols are reviewed prior to exams.
