The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Setting the Stage:

The Diagnostic Radiology Supervisor coordinates staff schedules, manages on call scheduling and shifts, creates OR rotation and assigns daily workloads to optimize patient flow. This is a working supervisor and images inpatients and outpatients performs portables and covers the OR as needed. The radiology supervisor works with HR for recruitment, hires new staff, is responsible to ensure proper on boarding and training, conducts annual reviews, tracks competencies and delivers performance feedback. Monitors quality assurance for technologists and radiology students. The supervisors troubleshoots live time equipment issues, coordinates repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment with filed service engineers. Monitors inventory and ensures par levels of daily supplies. Radiology supervisor investigates patient grievances and works to ensure patient satisfaction. Leads on going staff education, ensures compliance with radiation safety and compliance with NJDEP, DOH, Joint Commission and all regulatory bodies.
