Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Radiology Supervisor - Multiple Modality

RAD SUP - MULT MOD

Full-Time

  • Radiology Supervisor candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
  • Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff
  • Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels
  • Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations
  • Provide input for hiring and termination procedures
  • Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes
  • Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
  • May perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing levels require
  • Create work schedules to ensure all areas of diagnostic imaging are covered 24/7
  • Perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application
  • Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained
  • Perform quarterly audits of all supply closets to review stock vs
  • Make any changes to supply levels if necessary

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Radiology Supervisor - Multiple Modality

RAD SUP - MULT MOD

Full-Time

Radiology Supervisor candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
  • EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), unless the role is MRI and Ultrasound.
  • American Reg MRI Tech (ARMRIT), ARRT-Bone Density (ARRT-BD), ARRT-BS Breast Sonography (ARRT-BS), ARRT-CT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), ARRT-M Mammography (ARRT-M), ARRT-MR Magnetic Res Imaging (ARRT-MR), ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N), ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R), ARRT-S Sonography (ARRT-S), ARRT-VI Interventional Rad (ARRT-VI), Cert Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT), Reg Diag Med Sono-Abdomen (AB) (RDMS-AB), Reg Diag Med Sono-Breast (BR) (RDMS-BR): Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in TWO imaging modalities and works 25% of the time in the second modality. Approved modalities are: ARMRIT,ARRT-BS,ARRT-BD,ARRT-CT,ARRT-MR,ARRT-M,ARRT-N,ARRT-R,ARRT-S,ARRT-VI,,CNMT,RDMS-AB,RDMS-BR,RVT, RDMS-OB, RDMS-FE, RDMS-PS.
  • RDMS Fetal Echocardiograpy (RDMS-FE), Reg Diag Med Sono-OB/GYN (OB) (RDMS-OB), RDMS-Pediatric Sonography (PS) (RDMS-PS), Registered Vascular Tech (RVT):

Pay Range: $30.34-53.03
