Radiology Manager – Juneau, AK (Permanent, Full-Time)

Join a leading Diagnostic Imaging team in Juneau, AK as Radiology Manager, overseeing daily operations, staff performance, and imaging quality for a busy, multi-modality radiology department. This permanent, full-time leadership role is ideal for an experienced ARRT-registered imaging professional ready to step into or continue in department management.​

Position Overview

The Radiology Manager provides direction and oversight for all radiology services, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow across imaging modalities. This role combines hands-on clinical expertise with operational leadership, policy development, and collaboration with clinic and medical leadership.​

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate radiology staff to ensure clinical competency and adherence to departmental protocols.​

  • Oversee daily radiology operations including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance activities.​

  • Maintain compliance with MQSA, federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and radiation safety requirements.​

  • Manage radiology workflow, imaging submissions, and revenue optimization processes in coordination with administrative leaders.​

  • Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards.​

  • Collaborate with clinic administrators, physicians, and medical directors to support coordinated, patient-centered imaging care.​

  • Provide PACS and imaging system training and support for technologists and clinical users.​

  • Perform radiologic exams, and when appropriately certified, support CT/MRI imaging as needed for departmental coverage.​

  • Prepare required reports and maintain accurate, compliant radiology documentation and records.​

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with current ARRT registration.​

  • Minimum 5 years of radiology management and supervisory experience in a hospital or multi-modality imaging environment.​

  • Demonstrated proficiency with PACS and digitized imaging systems, including workflow and troubleshooting.​

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to lead diverse imaging teams.​

  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation regulations governing radiology services and quality standards.​

Preferred Background
  • Registered Mammographer and/or Ultrasound Technologist credential.
