FULL-TIME DAYS
The Radiology Manager is responsible for supervision of the Imaging department. Assesses, coordinates, implements, evaluates and discipline the employees according to the general personnel policies of BHS. The manager will identify study and assist in problem resolutions, relating to the department. Manages assign staff within the department. Completes established competencies for the position within introductory time frame. Performs other duties as assigned. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited/approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Program and AAS from accredited school or university.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 7 years technical experience, 5 years at a supervisory level
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years as a Senior Tech or 1 year as a coordinator in Imaging.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license. Registered by the
American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent, depending on specialty.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Multi-modality licensure in radiological specialties.
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life
Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of
hire.
