The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Regional Director of the Radiology Services, the Manager will coordinate patient scheduling, staff schedules, Radiologist schedules, medical record functions, maintenance, billing concerns and overall radiology operations. Interviews potential clerical applicants, provides orientation to new clerical employees and assists with the completion of employee evaluations. Reconciles all charging to include support to Professional billing component and coding. Supports and helps to resolve patients billing in collaboration with HIM and Centralized billing office. Reviews and finalizes all payroll for staff. Manager, develops, directs and coordinates all operations in order to assure and maintain efficient and high level of quality patient care in the Imaging Center. Ensures accurate completion of all forms and records related to the above functions. Supervises all staff within the department. In collaboration with Modality Supervisor and Regional Director. Responsible for overseeing coordination of services within the building/facility. Works with the VP Clinical Operations to identify operational and safety issues and ensures they are properly addressed by security, facilities, materials management, and other services as deemed necessary. Coordinates building support services including; engineering, facilities, housekeeping, security, parking, patient experience and other departments. Ensure that Imaging Center is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations. Supports that all facility regulations are maintained.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor s Degree
  • 5 years experience in a healthcare managerial role

Preferred:

  • Master s preferred
  • Experience Preferred: 5 years experience in a healthcare managerial role, preferably in the Radiology division

  • Knowledge of billing and coding
