Full-Charge Bookkeeper (Contract-to-Hire) | Hybrid | Carmel, IN


Robert Half is partnering with a growing CPA firm in Carmel to identify a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys managing multiple client accounts and working independently.


Schedule

  • Hybrid work environment
  • In office 3 days per week
  • Remote up to 2 days per week after training

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
  • Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare journal entries and month-end close activities
  • Generate financial statements and reports
  • Assist with payroll processing and sales tax filings as needed
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting questions and needs
