Our client, a growing and well-established manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead their quality control team and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring a strong leader who can balance shop-floor engagement with strategic quality management and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsiblities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead and supervise a team of 4–6 QC technicians (including day and night shift coverage)
- Provide hands-on training, coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary action when necessary
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and quality excellence
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for:- Nonconformances
- Customer complaints
- Internal/external audit findings
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Engineering and Operations teams to resolve quality concerns
- Communicate quality risks, trends, and KPIs to senior leadership, including executive stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
- 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
Preferred:
- Experience in HVAC, metal fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus
