Job description

Title: Qualifacts EHR Consultant
Type: Contract, Contract to Hire (full and part-time opportunities available)
Location: Remote
Rate: Commensurate With Experience
Job Description
The Qualifacts EHR Consultant will be accountable for multiple modules to provide consulting and project activity related to assigned areas, including both clinical and revenue cycle operations.
This Consultant will engage the agency by functional area and perform documented project scoping with intended outcomes. The position will deliver timely updates for all project activities.
  • The position will, at times, develop or oversee the development of best practice documents.
  • This position will normally have five plus years of progressive experience working across several modules within the Qualifacts environment.
  • The Consultant will support end-to-end workflows spanning clinical documentation through billing and reimbursement processes.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
The Qualifacts EHR Consultant must have a thorough knowledge of specific modules of the EHR System with proven skills including but not limited to:
  • System updates
  • Form builds
  • Training (clinical and financial users)
  • Ability to run design sessions for clinical as well as billing/revenue cycle teams
  • Module training and adoption
  • Module support
  • Experience as a support person or implementation specialist with EHR or similar software

Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Skills:
  • Understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle workflows (intake โ†’ charge capture โ†’ claims โ†’ payment posting โ†’ A/R)
  • Experience with billing configuration and setup within Qualifacts (or similar EHR platforms)
  • Knowledge of payer rules, authorization workflows, and service validation
  • Familiarity with claims management, including submission, rejection resolution, and denial management
  • Experience with electronic remittance advice (ERA) and payment posting
  • Ability to support accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up and reporting
  • Understanding of compliance requirements related to billing (e.g., documentation supporting medical necessity)
  • Ability to optimize workflows for clean claim rates and revenue integrity
  • Experience collaborating with finance teams to improve billing efficiency and reimbursement outcomes

The Consultant will be expected to leverage their experience including but not limited to:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Project definition and scoping
  • Project outline development (documentation)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to bridge clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders
