We are seeking candidates in Nashville to work a hybrid schedule in that office location. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities for the FP&A Systems Manager

Own Adaptive Planning as a Finance Product

  • Perform Adaptive Planning administration, which includes access rights, technical configuration, workflow management, custom fields/validations, and departmental structure
  • Represent Finance and Accounting in cross-functional Data Governance initiatives
  • Configure and maintain models, dimensions, versions, hierarchies, validations, and workflows
  • Translate evolving FP&A and business needs into scalable Adaptive solutions

Enable World-Class FP&A Processes

  • Support and continuously improve:
    • Annual budgeting
    • Monthly/Quarterly rolling forecasts
    • Long-range planning
    • Board-level and executive reporting
  • Partner with FP&A leadership to redesign planning workflows that move the team away from Excel dependency and into scalable, driver-based models as appropriate

Reporting, Analytics & Enablement

  • Build reports and dashboards in Adaptive Planning and its Office Connect Excel add-on to increase the productivity of the team and to deliver more timely actionable insights
  • Establish standards and best practices for reporting consistency and performance measurement
  • Act as a thought partner to FP&A and business leaders-helping them ask better questions of the data
  • Develop training materials and lead enablement sessions to improve overall system adoption

Data & Integrations (in Partnership with Enterprise Business Applications)

  • Coordinate data integrations between Adaptive Planning and ERP, HR, CRM, and BI tools
  • Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely data refreshes
  • Support system upgrades, new feature rollout, and testing cycles

Qualifications of the FP&A Systems Manager

  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Finance Systems
  • Hands-on experience administering Workday Adaptive Planning in a production environment
  • Experience with BI tools required (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Experience in SaaS or healthcare / healthcare technology, preferred
  • Workday Adaptive Planning certification, preferred
  • Experience supporting board or investor reporting, preferred
  • Exposure to revenue, workforce, or multi-entity planning models, preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP or data warehouse integration, preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the FP&A Systems Manager

  • Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
  • Proven ability to translate finance requirements into system configurations
  • Strong communication skills with comfort supporting senior finance leadership
