Job description

Clinical Manager – Behavioral Health Crisis & Stabilization Programs (MCRT/MRSS)

JOB TYPE: Full-time
LOCATION: Lanham, MD
iMind Health, a CARF-accredited behavioral health organization in Lanham, MD, is hiring a Clinical Manager for our Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) and Mobile Response & Stabilization Services (MRSS) programs. This role is ideal for a licensed clinician who is detail-oriented, EHR-proficient, and revenue cycle–driven — someone who thrives on documentation quality, billing integrity, and clinical supervision.
Working alongside organizational leadership, you'll focus on clinical supervision, documentation, billing, and quality oversight for our crisis and stabilization team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Supervise licensed and unlicensed clinical staff and consult on complex crisis cases
• Manage InSync (Qualifacts) workflows, templates, and documentation standards for the MCRT/MRSS programs
• Conduct chart audits to ensure timeliness, completeness, and medical necessity
• Ensure all billable encounters are captured, documented, and billed, and follow-ups are maximized within required timeframes (14-day follow-up)
• Partner with billing to resolve denials, authorizations, and documentation gaps
• Support program compliance with COMAR, Maryland BHA, Medicaid, and CARF standards
• Collaborate with the LBHA, hospitals, schools, and community partners
• Provide hands-on clinical support as needed, including occasional mobile crisis dispatch assistance and a small stabilization/therapy caseload during peak demand — this is primarily a management role
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Active Maryland independent licensure: LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT; Maryland board-approved supervisor required
• 5+ years of progressive behavioral health experience in crisis services, OMHC, hospital, or other outpatient billable service programs, including supervisory responsibility
• Demonstrated EHR proficiency (InSync by Qualifacts strongly preferred) and strong documentation/audit skills
• Strong understanding of outpatient clinic operations and billable behavioral health services, including stabilization services, medical necessity, and Medicaid/payer authorization
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

PREFERRED

• Experience with MCRT, MRSS, 988, Crisis Stabilization, or Crisis Continuum programs
• Experience in urgent care or walk-in behavioral health settings and managing large multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of COMAR 10.63 and CARF standards; grant management experience
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$105,000–$115,000 based on education and experience. Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Professional Development, and growth opportunities.
Some evening, weekend, and on-call responsibilities; travel throughout Prince George's County required.
iMind Health, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
