Job description

Position Title: Niche- Purchasing Manager
Position Location: Naples, FL
Function of the Group: Cost Reduction/Generating Revenue
Initiatives/Projects: Supply Chain Management- Tracking automation/modernization of procurement/purchasing process, technology implementation
Industry background: Purchasing or procurement (preferably within technology hardware, POS systems, telecommunications, or payments industries)
Roles and Responsibilities: The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of all hardware and installation-related materials required to support the company's Point-of-Sale (POS) and Merchant Services deployments. This role manages approximately $5 million in annual equipment purchases, including POS terminals, payment devices, peripherals, networking equipment and related accessories. The Purchasing Manager will ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining optimal inventory levels to support installations, field service operations and customer onboarding. This individual will play a critical role in vendor negotiations, supply chain continuity, cost control, and cross-functional coordination with Sales, Implementation, Finance, and Technical Support teams.
Have Technical Skills:
1. 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience (preferably within technology hardware, POS systems, telecommunications, or payments industries)
2. Experience managing annual procurement budgets of $500,000 required
3. ERP (Oracle, Netsuite, etc, does not have to be Zoho)
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
1. Experience in POS hardware procurement or payments industry. 2. Experience managing annual procurement budgets of $3M preferred
3. Familiarity with payment terminals, EMV devices, receipt printers, barcode scanners, and networking equipment.
4. APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP) or equivalent supply chain credential.
5. Purchasing or procurement experience within technology hardware, POS systems, telecommunications, or merchant payments industries
6. Experience supporting field installation or technical service operations.
7. International Purchasing experience
8. Tracking automation/modernization of procurement/purchasing process, technology implementation
