Job description

Bayonet Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning has an opening Entry Level Purchasing Assistant at our New Port Richey location. This is an in office position.

.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Creating and Tracking Purchase Orders.
  • Data Entry.
  • Scanning documents.
  •  Receiving invoices.
  • Intercompany transfers.
  • Calling vendors for quotes, stock orders, or billing questions
  • Creating and Organizing job files.
  • Filing.
  • You will be crossed trained with other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience with receiving and recording deliveries.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively, clearly and professionally over the telephone, face to face and in written communications such as e-mails.
  • Must know how to use a computer and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be meticulous and willing to follow instructions exactly as they are given.
  • Must be a team player, and be willing to help out others when needed.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced workplace with tight deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable sitting behind a desk.
  • Accounting experience a plus.
