We are looking for an Area Manager who will be responsible for the commercial sales operation for their area.

For this role we will consider someone who can be located in or around Dallas, Lawton, Waco or Austin.

In this role, you'll lead a collaborative and customer-focused team of sales and service professionals dedicated to creating sustainable, innovative solutions.

You'll inspire your team to grow, build strong and lasting customer relationships, and ensure that every partnership thrives. You'll combine your technical expertise with a people-first approach to help drive meaningful impact for our customers, our team, and the environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead & Empower Your Team

    • Support, mentor, and develop a diverse team of account managers and field service engineers.

    • Foster a culture of inclusion, learning, safety, and continuous improvement.

    • Encourage individual growth through ongoing feedback, coaching, and development planning.

  • Drive Growth Through Collaboration

    • Partner with your team to achieve regional growth and performance goals.

    • Develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts and new business.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer needs.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients.

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

    • Act as a technical and commercial resource for complex challenges.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate policies.

    • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.

    • Drive efficiency and cost control initiatives.

  • Regional Strategy & Growth:

    • Identify market trends and opportunities in the Central Area.

    • Lead regional initiatives to expand Solenis' footprint.

    • Support product launches and innovation adoption.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in chemical sales

  • Proven leadership experience in managing regional teams.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Willingness to travel within the area.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to work independently.
