As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful execution of cross-functional product development, engineering, and strategic initiatives that support the growth of our Fire Suppression division. Our team is looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and energized by managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep projects moving forward. In this role, you will lead projects from concept through completion by coordinating schedules, managing project scope, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring clear communication among stakeholders to deliver projects on time and aligned with business objectives.What You’ll Do
  • Lead cross-functional technical, compliance, and strategic projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, resources, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, work breakdowns, action logs, decision logs, and documentation.
  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, Product Management, Compliance, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Facilitate kickoffs, project reviews, status meetings, and decision forums; publish actions and due dates.
  • Track progress against schedule, quality, and launch commitments and drive corrective action.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, and escalations.
  • Control project changes and assess impacts to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to product development, stage-gate, quality system, documentation, and approval requirements.
  • Coordinate with all functions on cost, capital equipment, tooling, suppliers, testing, certification, and launch planning.
  • Coordinate with respective functions on prototypes, pilot builds, verification, certification testing, and production readiness.
  • Communicate status, risks, decisions, financials, and resource needs along with Product Management to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Partner with functional managers to secure resources, balance priorities, and resolve conflicts.
  • Support supplier, customer, and external partner interactions as required.
  • Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement of project management processes.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones.
What You Bring

Experience That Drives Success

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing cross-functional technical, product development, manufacturing, or capital projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, action items, and stakeholder communications; willingness to work within manufacturing and laboratory environments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent formal project management training, preferred.
  • Experience in fire suppression or other regulated product manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with stage-gate product development, engineering change control, ERP systems, certification projects, and product launches.

Location

This is a full-time position, on-site at our St. Louis, MO location. The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules.
