As one of the newest Chenega companies, Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions (CDAS) was developed with the purpose of providing expert Engineering and Technical Support Services to federal customers. 

 The Content/Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing software development management, database administration, cloud infrastructure operations, content management systems, and enterprise collaboration platforms supporting mission-critical operational environments. This position provides technical leadership and operational oversight for Suite applications, SharePoint environments, cloud-based systems, and enterprise content management platforms utilized to support continuity operations, geospatial visualization, and organizational awareness initiatives. They also manage the system administration activities, application maintenance, cloud infrastructure optimization, GIS/database integration support, and enterprise user account administration while ensuring operational readiness and compliance with customer requirements. This role also supports short-duration and short-notice maintenance activities and coordinates technical solutions across multiple operational environments and geographically dispersed locations.


Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee software development code management and database administration activities for the Suite applications, including CPT, LIT, EMSEL, and NROM.
  • Perform administration, maintenance, and operational support for SharePoint sites, content management servers, and Oblong Mezzanine content management systems.
  • Deploy code solutions, edit scripts, update taxonomy structures, and manage enterprise content deployments across systems.
  • Support same-day short-duration maintenance requirements for Suite and operational tools.
  • Provide technical expertise related to web service connections, GIS integration, and database architecture supporting geospatial analysis and visualization capabilities.
  • Extract, access, and manage geospatial and derivative data utilized by internal and external customers for continuity event analysis.
  • Manage and maintain content management systems located at NGA-Springfield and NGA-St. Louis locations.
  • Maintain SharePoint and content by updating and publishing Government-provided information.
  • Administer and manage system user accounts and access permissions.
  • Create, maintain, and support SharePoint websites and cloud-based development, testing, and operational environments.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure environments, including startup/shutdown scheduling, configuration management, and cost optimization activities.
  • Monitor cloud resource utilization and provide recommendations for the removal of obsolete environments and infrastructure resources.
  • Coordinate infrastructure modifications, environment changes, and system maintenance activities with Government Points of Contact (GPOC).
  • Provide technical and administrative support for content management servers at both NGA-Springfield and NGA-St. Louis facilities, including on-site support as required.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, operational procedures, and security requirements.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and technical status updates related to system operations and infrastructure activities.
  • Supervise technical personnel and support staff as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems, cloud infrastructure, software administration, or database management.
  • 5+ years of experience managing SharePoint environments and enterprise content management systems.
    • Experience supporting cloud-based environments, including development, test, and operational infrastructures.
    • Experience with GIS technologies, database architecture, and geospatial visualization tools.
    • Experience deploying and maintaining web applications and enterprise collaboration platforms.
    • Experience administering user accounts, permissions, and enterprise content management systems.
    • Experience preparing technical documentation, reports, and infrastructure recommendations.
  • Active TS SCI clearance with the ability to pass a CI poly.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required customer access and/or background investigation.
  • Must possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
