A pub chef is a culinary professional responsible for preparing and cooking food in a pub setting, focusing on traditional and contemporary pub dishes. Their responsibilities include menu planning, kitchen hygiene, food preparation, and staff management, requiring skills in creativity, efficiency, and a strong understanding of food safety regulations to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Menu Creation:
Learning and modifying our current creations
Developing and executing menus that often feature both classic and modern pub Fare
Food Preparation:
Cooking and plating dishes to a high standard for customers.
Over seeing current team members to make sure our quality is being delivered on every plate
Kitchen Management:
Overseeing kitchen operations in both our carry-out Dine-in and Catering, maintaining food hygiene and safety standards, and managing inventory and supplies.
Staff Leadership:
Mentoring and managing kitchen staff, guiding them to produce consistent and high-quality food.
Required Skills
Culinary Expertise:
A strong foundation in cooking techniques and a passion for creating flavorful and appealing dishes.

Organizational Skills:
The ability to manage kitchen tasks efficiently, especially in a busy, high-volume environment.
