Job description

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions delivers a waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-themed resort is home to America's largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.
EMS Provider
We are inviting you to apply for the EMS Provider position. In this role you are responsible for the safety of guests, associates, vendors, contractors, and other persons in all aquatic and dry attractions, public areas, convention center, resort rooms, student housing, restaurants, parking lots, and other resort property while on duty, applying life-saving skills and first aid to any person (s) in need.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
  • Apply first aid procedures as needed for any person(s).
  • Make sure first aid logs and incident reports are filled out.
  • Keep an open line of communication with all departments and keep them posted on what is happening in the department as much as possible.
What We're Looking For
  • Hotel or Resort experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to write, read, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are helpful but not required.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Current American Red Cross licenses:
    • First Aid
    • Basic Life Support CPR or CPR for Professional Rescuers
    • AED
    • Emergency Oxygen Administration (will certify in-house)
  • Recommended
    • American Red Cross - Emergency Medical Responder
    • NREMT - Emergency Medical Responder
