Job description

Arizona Priority Care (AZPC) is an Integrated Provider Network focused on providing whole-person care to Senior and Medicaid populations, through advanced value-based models. Our provider network is comprised of more than 6,000 health care providers, including primary and specialty care physicians, hospitals and ancillary providers. We have operated in the Arizona market for more than 12 years, based in Chandler, Arizona, and are an affiliate of Heritage Provider Network. As a leading value-based provider organization, we are committed to improving the quality of care, providing excellent member and provider experiences all while reducing cost.

The Provider Relations Coordinator provides support and assistance to the Provider Relations (PR) Department Management and Representatives. Prepares reports for Provider Relations Representatives to ensure consistent productivity within their daily schedules. Assists the Senior Provider Relations Coordinator in special projects, distribution of educational materials and problem-solving provider issues. Maintains a professional, positive and caring attitude at all times.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

ยท Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of provider networks and provider's needs; demonstrates ability to build strong, positive provider relationships; serves as expert consultant and resource to team members in identifying and resolving provider issues by demonstrating a high level of customer service.

ยท Manages and promotes provider satisfaction through ensuring proactive service, support and education.

ยท Assists with the distribution of incoming faxes.

ยท Assists with the management and distribution of incoming emails to PR department mailbox.

ยท Prepares provider reference and training materials for Provider Relations Representatives to distribute to the network.

ยท Prepares Monthly PR packet for distribution to the participating PCP & specialist network.

ยท Assists in the coordination and implementation of provider related activities such as Office Manager Meetings, Provider Dinners and HCC Universities, etc.

ยท Participates and assists in special projects, which may include HCC AWV program and Claims Issue Tracking Log.

ยท Updates visitation tracker on a weekly basis and scans Visit Forms into the H Drive.

ยท Update PR Rep Assignment Log on a weekly basis to include but not limited to PCP membership, Department Engagement level and current PR Rep assignment.

ยท Prepare timely reports for PR representatives' meetings based on calendar entries including but not limited to: Out of Network (OON) Lab, Claim Denial for No Auth, No PCP/AWV, Recapture, Member Eligibility, etc.

ยท Frequent communication with Senior PR Coordinator to ensure thorough completion of daily task expectations.

ยท Scans all PR Department Forms into the H Drive for accessibility by the team.

ยท Distribution of monthly packet to provider network as assigned.

ยท Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

ยท Associates Degree or related equivalent experience โ€“ Required.

ยท Prior experience with Physician Network Contracting and Provider Relations.

ยท Proficient in office equipment (computers, printers, etc.) and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, outlook and Power Point).

ยท Ability to maintain confidentiality; and ability to multi-task in a high stress environment.

ยท Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ยท Must be able to interact with providers in a professional manner with a strong commitment to positively representing the company.

**This role requires FT in-office presence for the first 60 days of employment, hybrid options available after the initial 60-day period.**

Compensation range: The hourly range for this position is: $24โ€“ $25.50.
